FAQ & Policies
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY ITEMS ?
Much of my work is functional ware which is Food Safe, unless otherwise stated. Warm soapy water and rinse is highly recommended to preserve the longevity of the handmade item. However occasional use of dishwasher is permitted and item's are microwave oven safe. Even though I fire the items at a very high temperature 1280 Degree Celsius in the final stage, I cannot guarantee against damage, cracking or breakage if an item is used in the oven. There are many variances that could lead to thermal shock resulting in breakage. My suggestion would be is to put the item in the oven at the pre-heating stage to help avoid severe THERMAL SHOCK, however I DO STRESS I cannot guarantee THIS WILL AVOID ANY DAMAGE.
The base of all items are sanded for a smooth surface to avoid scratching furniture.
I apply Liquid Quartz to any unglazed area's which is a food safe. The sealer designed for use on unglazed ceramic ware, rendering it waterproof, stain resistant and yet completely unchanged in appearance.
DO YOU DO CUSTOM ORDERS?
Sorry unfortunately I do not do custom orders.
WHAT IF I CHANGE MY MIND ABOUT A PURCHASE I HAVE MADE?
I’m sorry all purchases are final…so please choose carefully. I carefully check each item for any faults thoroughly at every stage of the making process. A final check is done before carefully packing your order and sending it on it's way to you. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind. There may be slight colour variations to the product due to the light at the time the photograph was taken. Different devices depict colour variations, I try my best to represent the product in the item description and imagery. I use no filters when posting product items. All pieces have been made by hand, thus each item may not be exact in measurement as the size specified in the description, for example if you buy 6 plates they will have slight variations in measurements and form.
